A Batman Story (more)

By Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1.com) -
There is only one possible solution for tragedies like the Colorado (Aurora). A ban on access to firearms by the general public.
When I was a teenager in the Gaspé Peninsula, for my 16th birthday my father gave me a shotgun. He said that a man should know how to hunt and be able to defend himself to survive. The gun culture was then present in daily life around the world and we bought a gun like buying a bicycle today!
Fortunately in 2012 the situation has evolved but it is not sufficient given the rising number of people and especially urbanization of daily life. It is obvious that no citizen needs a gun capable of firing 50 bullets at rehearsal and besides this kind of military weapons such as AR-15 is prohibited. But they say the mad killer would have modify the charger of a replica of the AR-15 which the charger hold 10 bullets. Anyway, it is essential that governments adopt legislation to remove firearms in society.
Observers claim that the debate will quickly disappear and that the tragedy will be forgotten. I think the "zeitgeist" is to mobilize for causes. If the tragedy of Colorado is used to launch a movement against the firearms, the killing will be used for something beyond the unacceptable death of those movie fans and of the knight Batman.
To be continued ...
